Planning Prospects appeared on behalf of Gladman Developments Ltd to provide expert planning and housing supply evidence at an inquiry determining an appeal against the refusal of Forest of Dean District Council for the development of 50 dwellings at Newent. The case required a range of challenging planning issues to be addressed, for example in relation to the site’s location outside the settlement boundary, Development Plan strategy, and to identify and confirm the Council’s deficient housing land supply position. The appeal was allowed with planning permission granted.
