Planning Prospects have secured a successful appeal decision following a Hearing for Lone Star Land against the decision of Wychavon District Council to refuse planning permission for a residential development on land off Bretforton Road, Badsey, Evesham. The main issue of the appeal was whether the location is suitable having regard to policies for development of housing in the countryside and the effect on the character of the landscape and visual impacts.  A key benefit of the development is the provision of much needed housing including affordable housing where there is a shortage in supply and evidence of need. The appeal was allowed and planning permission granted.
