Land at Gaydon / Lighthorne Heath, Warwick
Planning Prospects are the retained planning consultants to Taylor Wimpey, Barratt and David Wilson Homes providing the development of a new settlement in Gaydon east of the B4100.
The site is identified in Stratford-on-Avon District’s Core Strategy as a new settlement capable of delivering 3,000 dwellings together with necessary infrastructure. It also includes provision for land to be designated for the future strategic growth and expansion of Jaguar Land Rover and for the growth of Aston Martin Lagonda.
This part of the new settlement will comprise a residential development of up to 2000 houses including a new village centre including a primary school, community hub, health centre, retail and other services, a managed ecological reserve, public open space and recreation areas including a sports pavilion.
Reserved Matters approvals for the first two phases were secured in early 2020 with construction now well underway.
