Planning Prospects are the retained planning consultants to Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon Homes promoting the development of a major residential development of some 600 new homes on the edge of Shrewsbury which has the potential to accommodate a significant proportion of the town’s growth set out in the adopted Core Strategy.
The development is being brought forward through a masterplanning process which has required the comprehensive evaluation of a series of site development issues, ranging from highway access, ecology, landscape and infrastructure issues. Significant public consultation has been integral to the project, with focused consultation group sessions engaging the community.
Planning permission was secured for a hybrid development of 600 new homes in 2018 with Reserved Matters submission also to progress to Phase 2.
